Dr. Amir Kaki specializes in severe cardiovascular disorders and diseases, offering diagnostics and compassionate patient care. With his extensive knowledge of the field, he offers both preventative and immediate care to all patients. As a medical specialist at MVP Endovascular Center, Dr. Kaki helps patients make the right choices to live healthier lives and ensure that further vascular issues do not occur.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr, Kaki also holds board certifications in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and vascular and endovascular medicine. With this level of expertise, he can help any patient that visits his office

Dr. Kaki earned his medical degree from UNIBE (Universidad Iberoamericana) in the Dominican Republic and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Health Science Center College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, TN. He followed his education with a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He was then honored as a chief fellow at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City, NY, with a focus on coronary, carotid, and endovascular intervention.

Dr. Kaki has served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Tennessee Department of Medicine along with an assistant professorship in medicine at the Weill Greenberg Center at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He currently serves as assistant clinical professor of medicine at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Dr. Kaki’s research has been published by several peer-reviewed journals, advancing cardiovascular medicine and ensuring better treatments for patients in the future.
