Peripheral Artery Disease

Peripheral Artery Disease, or PAD, is a condition caused by blockages in arteries that slow blood flow, causing severe symptoms and potentially heart attacks or strokes.

PAD could signal development of atherosclerosis, where arteries harden due to the buildup. As the condition progresses, it could damage the heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, etc.

Iliac Vein Syndrome and May-Thurner Syndrome

Iliac Vein Syndrome is also known as May-Thurner Syndrome, and features compression of arteries in the pelvic region. Due to this compression, blood has a difficult time getting back to the heart, increasing the likelihood of DVT or Deep Vein Thrombosis.

Chronic Total Occlusion

Chronic Total Occlusion occurs when arteries are blocked so badly that they find new pathways to send blood through the body. CTO occurs when the artery is blocked for 90 days or more. These blockages could travel through the body or cause a heart attack or stroke.

Carotid Artery Disease

The carotid arteries sit on either side of the neck, and blockages in this area could lead to a mini stroke that is almost imperceptible. If the blockages continue, they could lead to a massive stroke, disability, or even death.

Critical Limb Ischemia

Critical Limb Ischemia is often known as CLTI or Critical Limb Threatening Ischemia. This condition includes blockages to the extremities that could lead to numbness, weakness, gangrene, or even amputation.
